Today’s anime pride character of the day is Hazumu Osaragi from the anime, manga, and video game Kashimashi. Hazumu was at one time a male. However, due to an accident in a local mountain, an alien ship accidentally hits and kills Hazumu. Out of pity, an alien vessel ends up saving Hazumu’s life by giving him a new life as a female, which was the only way to save his life. Throughout the series, there is a interesting love triangle between two other female lead characters. Being a yuri (girl’s love) series, there is definitely some intimate female moments yet is nothing that would personally offend anyone. Today’s anime pride character of the day is King from the famous SNK fighting game series King of Fighters and Art of Fighting. King originally debuted in the first Art of Fighting game as a male looking bartender. When you finish off King with certain special moves in Art of Fighting, her top comes off and reveals King taping off her breasts to conceal her true gender identity. In later games, both the King of Fighters and Art of Fighting series, King actually flirts with some characters before fighting them. Today’s anime pride character of the day is Masaki Sumitani aka Hard Gay Man. Masaki Sumitani was a Japanese professional wrestler before he did a comedy skit under Hard Gay Man. Hard Gay Man was known for his infamous pelvis thrusting, comedic sexual suggestions and either scaring or shocking japanese or foreign people. Today’s anime pride character is Mizuho Miyanokouji from the anime Otoboku Maidens Are Falling For Me. Mizuho attends an all girls school after his grandfathers wishes. However, in order to attend this school Mizuho must crossdress and be accepted as a girl. Because Mizuho already has a feminine appearance, he is easily accepted by the other girls at the school. Fire Emblem is a rather flamboyant, effeminate male how enjoys flirting with other male heroes in the series. I personally think of Nathan Seymour as a cross between Ru Paul and Dennis Rodman. Aoi Futaba is a male officer who dresses and acts like a female in the Bokuto Police Station. Aoi Futaba originally was supposed to go undercover as a female to catch a serial rapist. Today’s anime pride character is Hideyoshi Kinoshita from the anime and manga series Baka and Test. Because Hideyoshi has a very gender neutral appearance, some classmates confuse him as a girl. Also, Hideyoshi Kinoshita has an identical twin sister and it is easy to confuse them both. Here is Yuuko Hideyoshi (left) with Kinoshita Hideyoshi (right).
